ATLANTA (CBS46) –
After a frigid day on Monday, several counties in north Georgia are under a freeze WARNING until 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Temperatures dropped into the mid 20s and low 30s overnight throughout much of north Georgia and that has prompted the alert.
The following counties are under the freeze WARNING until 9 a.m.: Murray, Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin and White.

Once the warning expires, expect temperatures to rise rapidly throughout the day.
Skies will be sunny but it will still be breezy with highs in the low 70s.
Wednesday, we’ll warm significantly as you can expect highs into the 80s.
